It is easier to walk when there is only one road to take but what if there are two, three or more roads to choose from? In our life there many crossroads and we have to bear the struggle of doing the trial and error each time we are on the middle of an intersection. Somehow, each time we take one road there is the hopeful voice within us saying, "I hope I'm on the right direction." Sadly, often times we make the wrong choice and that's when we learn the lessons of life.
In life, choices are given, decisions are made and lessons are learned. Below are some tips you may want to follow when you are facing too many choices and need to make a good decision:

Have a clear mind before everything else.
Know what you really want and always think about this utilitarian thought, "the greatest good for the greatest number." According to an email message forwarded by a friend, try to toss a coin not because it settles the question for you but while the coin is in the air, you suddenly know what you're hoping for.
List the problems or situations you have at hand. If necessary, write also the possible consequences of each situation.
Do not make a decision if you're quiet emotional at the moment.
It is fine to ask opinions from your friends or love ones but do not just go with the flow. You still have to make your own decision.

For we are given the gift of freewill, we must be careful in making decisions or choices in our life. It must not be taken with haze but with complete understanding and sensibility. As they say, we cannot return back time. Whatever we have done today we cannot undo it tomorrow. If you made a wrong decision in your life there is no way you can change it and all you can do is correct it. Be wise before time runs out.
